| SIGN LANGUAGE is the ideal vehicle for corporate groups, volunteer organizations, and other youth/adult entities looking for an outdoor team-building activity that doubles as an introduction to Salem's remarkable history and architecture. SIGN LANGUAGE was developed and is offered by Jim McAllister, a Salem historian, author, and owner of Derby Square Tours. The scavenger hunt is designed for groups as small as 12 and as large as a few hundred. It can also be adapted, with a one to two hour minimum/maximum, to meet the customer's time constraints. SIGN LANGUAGE participants do not collect items, just information from historic markers, plaques, gravestones, and signs. The required gear - a map, a list of clues, and a pencil - is provided to the participants by Derby Square Tours. We also oversee tabulation of the results. Derby Square Tours does not, however, provide any prizes for the winners of the scavenger hunt. SIGN LANGUAGE is a reasonably priced activity. The fee varies from client to client depending on number of participants, length of the event, and the type of organization (for profit or non profit). For
