of a numbered edition of 300 copies. Includes letters written by the wife of Benjamin
Crowninshield of Salem while he was serving as Secretary of the Navy under President
Madison and the couple was living in the nation's capital.

of print, this approximately 150-page soft cover book is crammed with text and
color photographs relating to Salem's maritime trade industry. Cover imperfect
but otherwise in great shape. Newburyport

photographic look at Newburyport, published in 1981 and out of print. Sixteen
color and many black and white images. 88 pages and in good shape. Recollections
of Seventy Years $85.00 By Frank Sanborn Autographed
copy ("FB Sanborn, Concord, July 4, 1916") of Sanborn's two-volume collection
of reminiscences of the Concord of Emerson, Alcott, Hawthorne and of the national
political issues that permeated the town in his lifetime. Sanborn was a popular
Concord teacher and political activist who knew most of the great authors associated
with the community personally. The set, published in 1909, is in beautiful condition
with very slight dinging and discoloring on the edges of the cover.
